How to Install gitlab software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

gitlab software package provides git powered software platform to collaborate on code, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gitlab

gitlab is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gitlab package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gitlab *

You will get with gitlab package name, version, architecture and description in a table
